In the 1950s, Katin co-founder Walter Katin sat down at his sewing machine and crafted the very first pair of Katin trunks: the Waterman Trunk. Since its creation, the iconic silhouette has remained in our trunk collection and pays homage to Walter Katin and his unparalleled craftsmanship. The Waterman Trunk has since led the way as the first surf trunk in the United States.
