At Boutique Homies, we listen to our community. Chatting with our rider community, one annoyance came up often: used snowboards retain little resale value, even when they're still in good condition. Unlike mountain biking, where reselling your bike a few years later can really lighten the cost of an upgrade, snowboards too often end up gathering dust in a corner.
Why the Homies Trade-in Program?
Our goal? To offer an instant discount to those who want to purchase a new 2026 board, in exchange for their old one (less than 3 years old, brands sold at Homies). It's simple, direct, and it gives a boost to those who want to ride better without blowing their budget. We then resell the traded-in boards at an affordable price to other enthusiasts: a good setup, at a low price, to make more people happy on the mountain.
In addition to promoting better equipment rotation, this program allows us to fight against unnecessary overconsumption. A well-maintained board deserves to live more than one cycle.
With only 20 spots available for winter 25/26, we're testing the concept. We want to ensure that every customer has a smooth and beneficial experience. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced rider, Homies opens the door to accessible high-end gear, with service rooted in on-the-ground expertise.
