Jones Nomad climbing skins are premium splitboard skins that offer the ideal balance of glide, grip, and durability.
Nomad skin fibers are 70% mohair and 30% synthetic nylon. Natural mohair fibers offer exceptional glide in all snow conditions as they remain soft and flexible at all temperatures. Nylon fibers provide extra traction when the skin becomes stiff or icy, and improved durability compared to 100% Mohair skins. Nomad skins are PFC-free and are coated with the Bluesign-approved EVER DRY 3.0 anti-glopping treatment to improve performance in wet snow. Jones Nomad PRO skins are also laminated with a RUBBER SAFER SKIN backing. This rubber layer prevents the skin from absorbing water and makes the skins easier to separate. Nomad skins are available in two models: Trim-To-Fit with Universal Tail Clip and Pre-Cut with Quick Tension Tail Clip. The Quick Tension Tail Clip adjusts in seconds, provides perfect skin tension and is compatible with all 2016 and newer Jones splitboards.
Ever Dry (Bluesign approved)
Jones skins are treated with the EVER DRY anti-slip treatment. The coating prevents the skins from absorbing moisture and prevents snow/ice from building up under the skin.
70% mohair / 30% nylon
Jones Nomad and Nomad PRO climbing skins are both made with a blend of 70% natural mohair fibers and 30% synthetic nylon. Mohair offers unparalleled glide and a supple skin feel while nylon improves grip and water repellency.
Grip Tech Technology
Grip Tech skins are made with a special material that performs well under dynamic tension and has high torsional and abrasion resistance.
Safer Rubber Skins
Jones skins are laminated with a rubber backing that prevents the skins from becoming waterlogged. Drier skins are safer because they are less likely to lose their grip on your skis in critical situations.
Universal Tip Clip
The Universal Tip Clip securely attaches the skin to the split ski tip. It is compatible with all board shapes and all splitboard brands.
Quick Tension Tail Clip
The Quick Tension Tail Clip is a lightweight tail clip system designed to fit all 2016 and newer Jones splitboards (except Discovery). Jones splitboards have a notch cut into the tail of both skis that allows the Quick Tension Tail Clip to simply slide into the notch and secure the skin. The quick tension clip includes a durable rubber tail strap and a compact metal clip.

RETURNS: For a return to be accepted, the request must be made within 15 days of the date of receipt of your regularly priced item only. All returns are at your expense, unless it is an error on our part. Items must also be returned in their original packaging.
