Ideal for lightweight riders or riders who prefer more flex. These boards are built with a newly designed maple core that's light and lively underfoot. These boards have a great feel and are perfect for getting big pop, cruising, or hitting rails and boxes.

• The Flex Proto is available in two sizes, medium (41.4"x19.63") and small (39.4"x18.75").
• The medium size is our most versatile and fits riders from 125 lbs to 155 lbs well.

A definite advantage of a DB Skimboard is our trademark Micro Concave. We use a small side-to-side concave that creates a cup-like effect on the surface of the board. This concave allows the rider a smooth ride and increased confidence in rotations and shuvs.

It took years to find the perfect rocker profile for our standard boards. We dialed in and perfected this profile to find the perfect blend of amplitude and curvature. Our rocker allows for maximum pop without sacrificing speed on the water or making the board difficult to launch.

The combination of Micro Concave + Continuous Rocker = 3D Rocker. The bowl-shaped deck creates the ideal platform for technical tricks, long rides, and easy slides. Our boards are pressed using a proprietary technique that guarantees precise layups with a lasting shape. Ask around; our boards hold their rocker and concave almost indefinitely!

Flex skimboards are built with a 3-ply hard rock maple flex core. This layer is "flexier" for riders at the top of the weight limit and stiffer for riders at the bottom. To create a flexible board, we laminate using a completely waterproof bonding agent and cover the core with an HPL topsheet and base. HPL is the best sliding surface we've found. It glides perfectly on sand, PVC rails and boxes, logs, shells, cement, and just about anything else you can think of! The top of the board has our CNC-machined EVA diamond foam. The EVA foam provides excellent traction and cushioning for your feet and is durable enough to withstand the wear and tear of long sessions, UV rays, and salt water.

RETURNS: For a return to be accepted, the request must be made within 15 days of receiving your item purchased at regular price only. All returns are at your expense, unless it is an error on our part. Items must also be returned in their original packaging.
