Designed for backcountry excursions, the women's Burton [ak] Baker Down Jacket is the essential insulating layer to always keep in your bag. Perfect for extended breaks, exposed transitions, or admiring high-altitude panoramas, it can be worn alone or under a shell for maximum thermal protection.

Its 800-fill RSD (Responsible Down Standard) high-loft down insulation provides enveloping warmth that is lightweight and compressible. The Pertex® 20D Nylon Ripstop outer fabric, lightweight and water-repellent, resists snags while remaining soft and pleasant to the touch.

The discontinuous quilted construction maximizes down loft, thus improving thermal efficiency. Pit Zip™ vents under the arms allow active temperature regulation without having to remove the jacket. It fully compacts into the left hand warmer pocket for quick storage in a backpack.

It features zippered hand warmer pockets, an internal zippered chest pocket, and a utility loop in the left pocket. The cuffs are elasticated to retain warmth, and the hem is adjustable via a drawcord. The entire garment is equipped with reliable and durable YKK® zippers.

Designed with performance and responsibility in mind, this jacket uses Bluesign® certified materials, minimizing its environmental impact while meeting the demands of the terrain.
