Bones Ceramic Super REDS® are lighter and offer faster acceleration because the balls weigh much less. They create less friction and are therefore faster than Super REDS, with or without lubricant! When you put dirt in your Ceramic Super REDS, the ceramic balls will help repolish the flat steel races, providing a self-healing advantage as ceramic balls are much harder than steel. Finally, ceramic balls do not rust, which further extends their lifespan. Ceramic Super REDS use a bone-colored shield with laser-engraved outer rings for identification.
