All boards in the Zsigmondy line are excellent all-around boards with a delicious recipe. We combine skateboard and surfboard shape characteristics, such as a fish-shaped outline and blunt shapes on the nose and tail. Some shapes are more suited to freeride, while others are more freestyle-oriented. But each shape is designed to be as progressive as possible for tricks and turns.

We make some pretty unique, handmade Powsurf boards with 3D shapes and channel construction for better control and great performance without binding on the snow.

“Steve Gruber (green) and I started ÄSMO in 2006, short for Ästhetiker Shape Movement, after shaping a few skateboard decks for Salomon Powskate in previous seasons. We were inspired by the pioneers of our sport when they started making boards for the very first time. I guess it was the same kind of spirit of starting something new that was after when we rebuilt my small garage into our first workshop with the intention of making snow-planning shells. The new perspective of riding in the mountains with Binding-Less on surf-inspired Shapes, where our playground suddenly became so much bigger and all the terrain became breathtaking again, was such an amazing new experience. I felt like I was a kid again and starting snowboarding again.”
Steve and I have been delving into shape spheres and their inspirations for the past fifteen years. We've developed and refined our 3Dimensional Bottom outline and a wide variety of different board types to suit all types of conditions and riding styles.
