The Big Dipper is a flexible longboard shape measuring 42.2 inches long by 9.48 inches wide with a 29.8-inch wheelbase. It's made from a 7-ply maple construction that gives it a responsive, positive flex that returns plenty of energy in carves, without feeling soggy and dead. The flex dampens a lot of vibration, and combined with the length, it doesn't notice rough pavement at all. It's like a freight train, it doesn't stop. We kept the rocker and concave we love from the Dipper and lengthened the wheelbase to be nice and stable. The 155mm Grizzlies pair perfectly with the longer wheelbase and extra width for tight turns and amazing carves. The Supreme 70mm 78a wheels do a great job of sliding when you want to, while holding their line when you need extra traction.
